“I sleep only in two dots of perfume.”

Synopsis: The audience follows tabloid journalist Marcello Rubini in his pursuit of hedonistic happiness. Along the way we meet a beautiful, bombshell actress, Sylvia, a miserable heiress who has it all, Maddalena, and his very unstable girlfriend, Emily.
Drama, scandal, infidelity. Its black and white glamour was alluring. I couldn’t help but get hypnotised by the lively buzzing music and exhilarating pace. Not to mention the stunning Oscar winning costume and set design by Piero Gherardi. Bravissimo! My main question by the end is: has anyone really lived La Dolce Vita?
