“Kiri kiri kiri kiri kiri kiri!”
Synopsis: Based on Ryu Murakami's 1997 novel, this film follows Aoyama, a widower still grieving the loss of his wife. He finally accepts his friend's offer to help him look for love until he finds his perfect match, Asami, however, she is not entirely what she seems.
Strange, frightening and thrilling. I was recommended this film, told it was one of the 'scariest' Japanese horrors I was ever going to see. While the acting and plot were excellent, I wasn't very scared. I will say, though, that I don't believe Aoyama entirely deserved his fate. Definitely worth the watch.
